Westchester

Westchester County, New York, commonly referred to as "Westchester", serves as the primary setting of The Clique series. Westchester is known for being an extremely affluent area located just north of New York City. Although Westchester is a real county, many of the specific locations referenced in the books are fictional. Also, Westchester is often treated like a singular town in the books, but it is actually a large area that encompasses several cities and towns. There are various references in the books that allude to the Pretty Committee's estates and OCD being located in Scarsdale, which is the wealthiest residential town in Westchester.

All of the books take place in Westchester except for The Pretty Committee Strikes Back (Lake Placid), Dial L for Loser (Los Angeles), Charmed and Dangerous (NYC), Summer Collection: Massie (Southampton), Summer Collection: Alicia (Barcelona), Summer Collection: Dylan (Hawaii), and Summer Collection: Claire (Florida).
